Does it work on all Smartphones?

It works on Android & iPhone but not Windows, it therefore covers 99% of the market.

Does the claim go straight to the Insurer?

No, the standard model is for the claim information to go to the broker and the insured. If the broker wants it to go to an insurer or claims contact point then it can be defined to work in that way but the standard approach is for Broker & Insured.

Where is the data stored?

Data is held securely and is backed up daily with each back-up being retained for a period of 7 days. We use Amazon Web Services which creates a Virtual Private Cloud for any intra-systems communications. Media is stored on Amazon’s S3 service, which is designed to deliver 99.999999999% durability.

Does it link to insurance broking back office systems?

You can save the info in a pdf format and attach it to client records or copy and paste text into the system.  Auto integration would be something looked as part of a road-map with the right system providers.  One thing for sure, it’s often easier to read than someone’s handwriting!

Does the app only do motor fleet?

Currently, yes, however being rolled out in the next few months will be both property and liability. Insure Apps is a modern and progressive  company who seek to help brokers and their clients use technology to better capture and handle claims information

What happens if the user has so 3G/4G or WIFI when they need to submit a claim?

The claims data is stored on the phone when the claim is being input. This means that even if the user presses “send” when they have no signal, the data will be stored on the phone and can be submitted when they have the suitable connection to do so.

Where do my customers download the app?

Go to the App store and search for “Claims Made Easy”. Simply download the app, it’s really that easy! Once the app is downloaded drivers input specific information chosen by the broker to set it up.

Would it matter if my client changed insurer?

One of the big benefits of the app is that it works independently of insurer. The standard model is that the broker sends the information to the insurer but this can be automated if the broker wishes. A broker can point the information flow for each client at a specific insurer and change this as the insurer changes.

What does one download of the app entail?

A download is where the app is downloaded from the app store by a client, if there are 20 drivers who all download the app then this will be counted at 20 downloads.

Is the app branded to my company?

Yes, we will incorporate branding by using a logo of your choice and a hexadecimal colour (usually taken from logo) to be the background colour of the app.  It presents you as innovative and if you wanted to co-brand the app for a customer you can do that as well.

Can we dictate what personal information we request from drivers using the app?

Yes, you can decide what fields of information regarding driver information you want to include, including date of birth, sex and driving license information.  This information is captured up front and not filled in on the roadside.
